Throughout his 20 year career in the telecommunications industry, Todd’s actions have been impacted by two key principles – always conduct yourself with integrity, and commit to doing what is right for the customer. Todd attributes much of his company’s success, and personal success, to focusing on these simple principles.

Customer service is programmed in Todd’s DNA. Prior to founding PSS, he operated at Nortel as the Executive Director of Worldwide Support Operations for the Nortel/Periphonics IVR Product Line. In customer service revenue, Todd was in charge of $50M in P&L responsibility.
As an executive with Periphonics prior to its acquisition by Nortel, Todd enjoyed many successes through the company’s years of rapid growth. He took over operations for Periphonics Mexico during a particularly troubled time of financial losses and operational chaos. Within one year, he transformed operations to profitability and grew revenue by nearly 70%.

A true pioneer in getting speech recognition into practical enterprise deployments, Todd was part of the team that implemented the first speech-enabled applications at Charles Schwab over 10 years ago. This groundbreaking deployment was the first commercially successful speech recognition deployment in a major enterprise call center, and was the foundation for speech adoption that sparked the growth of the speech industry.

Todd also led the installation team that deployed the largest enterprise IVR system in history for one of the most respected financial institutions in the world. Prior to this, Todd worked for Memorex/Telex holding several positions in customer service, support, and field engineering.

When he’s not acting as assistant coach for his children’s many sports leagues, Todd enjoys playing golf and tennis with his wife. During his younger years when life wasn’t quite so hectic, he participated in community plays taking on all duties both center stage and behind the scenes including singing, acting, set design, and prop construction. Today, Todd gets his adrenalin rush by embarking on family ATV rides in the desert. He and his family are actively involved with local charities and social ministries.
