Mar'ia Adkisson

Vice President of Sales

Mar'ia Adkisson is the Vice President of Sales for the Northeastern U.S. for PSS and is responsible for driving PSS's growth in this region. In this role, Mar'ia is responsible for driving revenues and creating customer demand with an integrated approach utilizing PSS Professional Services, Support, and unique product portfolio. Mar'ia has extensive experience with Contact Center business technologies including manufacturers such as Nortel, Cisco, Avaya and Genesys.  Her familiarity with IVR, CTI, VoiceXML and speech recognition based on her past experience enables her to serve customers with a best practice approach to their business. 

Mar'ia joined PSS in January of 2009 and has previously served as Senior Corporate Account Manager with Verizon Business, a Senior Account Manager with Cisco and a Senior Account Manager with Nortel.

Mar'ia's entry into the world of technology began in the Information Systems division of Washington Mutual Bank in the early 1990's.  While there she helped managed large scale, critical projects for internal banking operations.  During her tenure, she completed her studies at the National Academy for Paralegal Studies and became responsible for the negotiation and management of all technology contracts for Washington Mutual's Information Technology department.  After several years, Mar'ia moved on to Attachmate Corporation where she was responsible for the negotiation and management of international technology agreements from a provider/vendor standpoint including large scale OEM agreements, Reseller and VAR agreements, Mergers and Acquisition agreements associated with technology.  Sales became her calling and she became responsible for key finance and retail vertical accounts in the eastern U.S. within 6 months of her first sales role at Lucent (formerly Mosaix.).  From there, she gained experience with businesses from small entrepreneurial start ups to multinational technology companies.  Mar'ia is thrilled to have the opportunity to help bring PSS to the forefront of the business world - based on the highest standard of customer care she has ever seen, matched with unparalleled professional services and contact center technology.
